& what is the theme of today's masquerade?
i've always had issues with my stereotyped identity as a girl in that i do not believe in being seen and not heard. while i am a compassionate person and of course just looove to brush my hair, i also operate on my own terms. i give a crap about what is going on in this world, and try and encourage others to open their eyes and do the same. at the same time, let me assure you that i do my darnedest to bring everyone a good time. i don't embarrass easily, so i suppose being "that girl" comes more naturally. i just try not to take myself too seriously, and generally feel that all one can do is laugh when life hands ya lemons. but if ur thirsty, sure, lemonade works too i suppose.
oof. i've been called into work the last 2 days. i generally don't know what day it is, or what's going on, and yet i'm expected to be an academic in a matter of days. hence the oof.
